Initiative to protect water bodies from pollution
Initiatives to set up a system to collect waste during Ganesh Chaturthi festival help in channelising its proper disposal. Towards this end, Neura village was provided bins at Ganesh idol immersion points.
Under a drive, Swaccha Goa, Swaccha Neura by Kala Academy Goas College of Theatre Arts, the special bins were distributed in coordination with Neura panchayat for collecting Ganesha puja waste (nirmalya) and for other waste separately.

This scheme was announced in 2018 to aid farmers in providing remunerative return for their produce. It has three sub-schemes namely, Price Support Scheme (PSS), Private Procurement & Stockist Scheme (PPSS) and Price Deficiency Payment Scheme (PDPS).
