· ‘Goa University will get funding under RUSA 2.0’
ð Goa University vice-chancellor made requested Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar to make additional funding available to varsities like GU under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Sikshya Abhiyan (RUSA) 2.0. He said there was no reason why funding under RUSA 2.0 should be denied to universities with a score of three and above in NAAC accreditation.
ð The difference between 3 and 3.25 in NAAC evaluation, while important, is not significant enough to exclude universities falling between 3 and 3.24.
ð If GU gets funds under RUSA 2.0, it promises to make every paisa count to enhance teaching, learning and the quality of research at the university.
