Goas first open-sea cage fish farm commences operations
Goas first cage culture farm was inaugurated recently at Candolim with the support of the central government.
Fernandes was granted a licence by the department to undertake open sea cage culture at Candolim based on a request submitted to the department. He is also a beneficiary under a centrally-sponsored scheme of the department of fisheries, government of India and the state fisheries department.
Two cages under the All India Network Project on Mariculture of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries
Research Institute (CMFRI), Karwar, have been integrated in the project. Technical advisory for cage culture is also provided by ICAR-CMFRI, Karwar.National and International Affairs
Chhattisgarhs Karma, Sikkims Tamangshelo adjudged best
Karma dance of Chhattisgarh Surguja region was adjudged the best in the dance category while Sikkims Tamangshelo was conferred the first prize in marriage ceremony and other dance category.
In the Harvest category, Dhengsa
of Odisha was adjudged second and Gaddi of Himachal Pradesh the third.In marriage and other function category, Odisha got the second prize and Jharkhand the third.
A glimpse of the tribal milieu and
its connection with nature can be seen in the Karma dance.The dance is performed in memory of King Karam Sen and is one of the most popular dance forms of Chhattisgarh.
The traditional attire and beautiful rural ornaments of the vibrant folk artists of Chhattisgarhi were seen in the performance.

The Campaign has focused on liquidation of pendency in respect of MPs references, references from , Inter-Ministerial references (Cabinet Note), Parliamentary Assurances, Public Grievances & PG Appeals, to review existing rules and procedures to
